WINTERFREEZE CHILI COOKOFF RESULTS
We had a great turnout.  There were 27 red chili contestants, 12 verde and 19 salsa.   The place was packed due to the football playoffs and the band, Seeing Daylight.  They are big sponsors of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and they donated their time to the cause. STEVE WRIGHT
Steve Wright suffered a heart attack on Monday afternoon and passed away before reaching the hospital.  His wife, Aggie, is planning a Celebration of Life and will give us the details when they are finalized.  Steve has been a longtime ICS member.  He has been a cookoff chairman of many events and was on the Board of the Western Regional Cookoff.  Aggie is requesting no calls this week.

Chili Cooks, If you’re coming to the two day New England Regional Chili Cook Off, please consider staying at our host hotel, the Holiday Inn of Springfield/Enfield. The Holiday Inn is only 20 minutes from the Hartford airport (BDL) and is only 15 minutes from the NERCC and is a real nice place to stay.
