LONG ISLAND’S ROCKIN’ CHILI COOKOFF - AUGUST 21, 2010
Long Island’s Rockin Chili Cook Off is now officially in the record books!
The Black Rock Tavern in Yaphank, NY is a great venue and they really treated the cooks well! They had two great bands and the there was all kinds of food!
Wounded Warrior Project did quite well today and can really use the money to help our wounded hero’s.
The beautiful awards were donated by Warren from www.Awardsdirect.com
A lot of great sponsors stepped up and were in attendance all day.
Our host from the Black Rock Tavern, Rick really has a big heart and matched the cash donations that were raised today!
Jo and Nick Loddo assisted Kat and I in the judges tent and were a big help.
This was Ray Barry’s first cook off as an organizer and he pulled out all of the stops.
This cook off really should be on everyone’s list for next year…you’ll have a killer time!
