REMEMBERING CHUCK HOFF
To my Chili Family -
It is with a sad heart that I write this blog today. Many of you already know that on October 1st, Chuck suffered a massive heart attack and died while attending the World’s Championship Chili Cook Off in Manchester, New Hampshire.
A Catholic Memorial Mass will be held on October 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2777 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43209. A reception to celebrate Chuck’s life will be held immediately after the service at Kit and Chuck’s home - 1133 S. Roosevelt Avenue, Columbus, OH 43209. We intend to fix all the food that Chuck felt he needed to purchase on his trip through New Hampshire. And remember, Chuck always bought more food than he needed. So please join me and my family.
Donations may be sent in Chuck’s memory to the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43214 or the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, 2225 City Gate Drive, Columbus, OH 43219.
Those of you who will be cooking that day and unable to join us, please raise a toast to Chuck.
