A FRIENDLY REMINDER FOR COOKS COMPETING AT THE WCCC
Cook stoves must be of the propane or butane type such as a Coleman stove that uses bottled gas. Please, no WHITE GAS stoves - this type usually drives the fire marshal nuts! One of the reasons is that type of stove tends to flare up when cold at startup. We will have a limited supply of propane for sale at the WCCC for $3 a bottle. Correct change is always appreciated. For those with a car, there is a Walmart store very close to the airport and located approximately 3 miles from the cook off-site. Their address is 300 Keller St, Manchester, NH 03103 and phone number is 603-621-9666. I will have a few extra cook stoves with me for emergency use, so if you experience a problem with your stove please let me know.
