CONNECTICUT STATE CHILI COOKOFF

We had a wonderful day at East Shore Park in East Haven, CT for the 18^th annual Connecticut State Chili Championship. Nice weather, lots of eager cooks and lots of hungry spectators. As always, Sharon Willard did a fantastic job running around keeping everyone happy.

Since this is close to the World’s each year, we always have a special category where the cooks who have already qualified get to cook a pot for special judging. This year we had five cooks trying out their recipe once more before the big dance up in Manchester.

The winner of the Manchester Cup this year went to a very happy Jerry Buma.
