GREAT FORSYTH CHILI COOKOFF RESULTS
The Great Forsyth Chili Cookoff and Salsa Contest welcomed 2 new ICS cooks on Saturday, January 14, 2012. With 25 Traditional Red, 14 Verde and 12 Salsa contestants the weather inside the beautiful Hickory Point Mall in Forsyth IL heated up while outside temperatures stayed very cold.
When ICS cooks worked their magic, 30 celebrity cooks were serving up enough homemade chili to raise thousands of dollars (final amount to be determined) for Catholic Charities and Salvation Army in another part of the Mall.
Each of the cooks were winners by showing up in spite of the cold and competing with some of the finest ICS chili cooks in the country, There were nine money winners for this event. Each first place winner qualifies to compete in the 2012 ICS Worlds Championship Chili Cookoff October 5-7, 2012 at Magic Island, Charleston, WV.

Contestants enjoyed a reception at the Homewood Suites following the cookoff with Buffelo Wild Wings, Debbies Diner and Ray’s Brand Chilli providing food and beverages!
