James “JR” Knudson
January 9, 1916 – January 26, 2011
When someone passes away it is always difficult to inform relatives and friends of their death. When someone as special as JR passes away, it is even harder to make the announcement. It is with great sadness that we tell you Jim peacefully passed away at 2:25 this morning. He lived an incredibly full and happy life. He and Margo were married for 71 years. They raised an exceptionally close and loving family. They have 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. JR truly loved his “chili family.” The “chili family” became a huge part of his and Margo’s life. He lived to go to chili cookoffs and see his friends. Being the humble man that he was, he never really understood the positive impact he made on other people’s lives. He touched so many lives and he will be truly missed.
