CINCO de MARZO - A CHILLY CHILI STROLL - MARCH 5, 2011
Cinco de Marzo – A Chilly Chili Stroll
March 5, 2011
This cookoff is coming up this weekend. If everyone who indicated they are coming does, it looks like we’ll have 17 cooks. If you’re not one of them, can you find it in your heart to come out and make it a regional? We only need three more, five would be better in case somebody backs out.
IMPORTANT: As is allowed in the new rules, people’s choice chili in MANDATORY. We’re only asking one gallon per cook. If two or more people are sharing a booth, there needs to be a gallon for each of them. I don’t care if it’s one pot with two or three gallons or multiple pots; work that out with your boothmates. You need to have this ready by 12 Noon, 11 AM would be better. If you do not have it ready to serve, you will be disqualified and your competition chili will not be judged. Please don’t let this happen. A number 10 can of chili slightly doctored up will be fine. If you want, I will bring some cans that you can buy. Let me know, soon.
