SNOWMASS MAMMOTH FEST - JUNE 13 - 14, 2014
Chili cooks from all over the Southwest will converge in beautiful Snowmass Village, Colorado for two days of competition, Friday, June 13th and Saturday June 14th. With stunning 14,000 foot mountain peaks set as the backdrop, Snowmass Mammoth Fest features two ICS (International Chili Society) sanctioned chili competitions and tastings for festival attendees, on Friday, June 13th and Saturday, June 14th, 2014. Categories of chili include Salsa, Green Chili and Red Chili. Thousands of dollars in prize money will go to a few select winners as well as the coveted honor to participate in the International Chili Society (ICS) World Championships held each fall in a select U.S. city. Come take part in the fun and compete for the best Red Chili, Green Chili and Salsas each day!
Two complimentary weekend passes per registration for cooks to enjoy music and beer tastings! After the cook-offs, enjoy the music all weekend long in Snowmass Town Park with a Grand Beer Tasting on Saturday featuring 25+ microbreweries.
Friday is our “Chili showcase day” where there will be chili to taste, music to dance to and beer and wine for purchase. On Friday the mall will be licensed for alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages so you can enjoy your favorite drinks while strolling between the chili and music. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Snowmass Mall businesses on Saturday. The chili events are family friendly and FREE to the public. Don’t miss out on the “local’s favorite” festival of the year and Snowmass’ Colorado kickoff to the summer.
